About Rebecca
Rebecca Workman is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter by way of New York. She graduated from Skidmore College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Media Studies, and has nearly a decade of experience working in Content Acquisitions for Streaming Platforms. She focuses on character-driven, mystery, and crime stories, as well as coming-of-age stories across film and television.
Rebecca’s series and feature scripts have placed in several competitions including, The Page Awards, Final Draft Big Break, Launchpad Pilot, and The Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. She has been a semi-finalist in ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition, The Golden Script Competition, Write LA, and SWN TV Pilot Screenplay Competition and a finalist in Stage 32 - Television Drama Writing Contest. Her screenplay The Other Side was recommended by Shore Scripts coverage.
