Todd Slavkin

I'm a showrunner/writer/director with over 35 years of experience in both film and television. Working with my oldest friend and writing/producing partner Darren Swimmer, I've worked in all different kinds of genres and have been involved with many popular television shows, including SMALLVILLE, SHADOWHUNTERS and most recently THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, for which I was nominated for two Emmys; Best Writing for a Children and Family series, and Best Children and Family series. I've written pilots for ABC, NBC, FOX and The CW, where I developed and was the showrunner of MELROSE PLACE 2.0. Other television credits include NO ORDINARY FAMILY, ALPHAS, DEFIANCE, DOMINION and GUILT. I began my career in features, penning DARK REFLECTION and CONTROL, starring Ray Liotta, Willem Dafoe and Michelle Rodriguez. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where I currently reside with my wife. When I'm lucky my two daughters come home for a visit.
