I'm a Drama Queen from the 80's. I was glued to the TV set every evening watching my favorite programs on ABC, NBC and CBS. Always wanted to re-write the scene in a different way if my favorite character missed the mark. I love movies, drama and comedy's. I have always seen myself behind the camera and behind the scenes making it happen. I wrote my first short in 7th grade about a girl from modest means making it big and losing it all when she got caught up and lost her way. I have always dreamed about writing for Television and Movies but never actively pursued this dream because life happened. I write occasionally when an idea strikes me while driving in the car to work or watching a movie and I have an idea for a spin off but I have never been able to get past the first scene. I have a beginning and ending but the middle is missing. Developing my characters is challenging taking on more than one personality is fun but exhausting. I have taken a few screen writing courses and entered into a few contests over the years. Taking the time now to do something just for me. This is a good place to start.
