Shirley Cohen: Actor, screenwriter and voice actor.

Hey! My name is Shirley, and I'm new to the community but not to the craft! I hope to be a screenwriter/actress and I currently live in London. Even though I'm working at a nursery at the moment I have participated as an extra in several TV shows, you can find me in the crown if you look hard enough ;)

In the past, I've been in a few secondary school productions, went to acting classes, wrote a few short stories, the usual stuff. I've developed my skills a lot in the past few years and I'm actually writing a script for a sitcom with my best friend, using our creativity and the magic of our friendship to create a good plot and jokes that make you actually laugh out loud instead of just thinking 'that was funny' :)

That aside, I'm also writing a script of a coming-of-age film, much of it focused on the experience of being lgbt+ in a brown more traditional family, something that relates to me very much and also something that I couldn't find representation to.

I'm to looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful people here and creating connections!
