George Zouvelos is a 6'4 SAG-AFTRA / AEA actor who is a New York City native with deep Greek / Hellenic roots. Throughout his acting career he has appeared in various roles in award winning short films and independent television. His acting studies included stage, Adler, Meisner, Hagan, Chubbuck; and later focused on his Stanislavsky Method at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. George has utilized his unique and natural acting technique garnering multi Indie awards for his acting, screenwriting and directing, including most notably the Cannes Shorts, and the Cannes World Film Festivals, in Cannes France.
George is a member of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the New York City chapter and Emmy Judge. He's a member of NYWIFT New York Women in Film and Television, AFI American Film Institute. George earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City; and also 'Filmmaking' degree from the New York Film Academy, NYFA .
George speaks, reads, and writes Hellenic Greek fluently, and his surname is pronounced (Zoo' vel os)
