During the Persian Gulf War in 1991, MTI’s TCS enabled Peter Arnett and his team from the Cable News Network (CNN) to be the only broadcaster in Iraq capable of sending live reports back to America. In the aftermath of the war, CNN was propelled to new heights by pioneering the concept of 24-hour news and gained enough traction that it cemented its position among the titans of television.
