I've been writing a memoir for the last two years about creating my family, two sons, using both sperm and egg as a single, unmarried woman in the dot-com era of the late 1990s. I kept the egg donor part a secret for 17 years. Other writers and mentors believe my story is completely unique, uplifting, and beautiful, encouraging me to write it as a screenplay to share with the world. In late 2022, I attended a writer's conference in Kauai and took a master class, "Scenes for the Screen," from David Paul Kirkpatrick, the former President of Paramount Pictures, and loved it! I have friends in the film industry who are interested in helping me develop my story, but first, I need to understand how my story can translate into a screenplay.
