After three officers are acquitted of the shooting death of a young African American boy, the mother turns to the underworld for justice and revenge.
SYNOPSIS:
Veteran Officer Wayne Cooper’s life takes a dark turn when he veers off the familiar path of Route 66. Lost on a mysterious highway, he encounters flashing blue and red lights that pull him over. But this isn’t your typical traffic stop. Cooper is charged with an unusual offense: DWW (Driving While White).
As he’s taken to an ancient, one-story jail, he discovers that the guards are not ordinary law enforcement officers. They’re fallen angels—shapeshifters who reveal man’s deepest fears and hidden truths. Each officer represents someone from Cooper’s past, someone he directly impacted.
In a surreal twist, Cooper is forced to walk in their souls, experiencing their pain—the physical and mental consequences of his actions.
The mother of Nathan Woods, a murdered African American boy who never received justice in the real world, is who summons him here. Officer Cooper faces his own trial. The verdict could lead to eternal damnation for him and those he loves.
