Arya Su Altioklar

Arya Su Altıoklar, born in Ankara, graduated from TED Ankara College before pursuing studies in Sociology. She is the founder of KısaKes, the first international short film festival in Turkey, which has successfully united inspiring filmmakers in its various sections for over 10 years. In addition to establishing a production company, she served as the former festival director of the !f Istanbul Film Festival. Between 2021 and 2023, she worked at Netflix as the Manager for Grow Creative in Turkey. In this role, she aimed to expand and elevate local talent pools through education and training. Under her leadership, 39 initiatives were implemented, leaving a lasting impact on the development of over 1500 talents across both ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) spheres. In her capacity as the Netflix Grow Creative Turkey Manager, She took the lead in spearheading initiatives focused on cultivating local language content and nurturing talent pools through meticulously crafted education and international training programs. The drama series project "Greater Than Death" - created by her which was selected for CineLink 2018 and TV-Series Festival Berlin, won the "Best Drama Series Project Award" at CineLink. She is actively involved in consulting for drama series, feature and short film projects, as well as film festivals such as Cannes, Sarajevo, and Torino. Additionally, she is the lecturer of the Netflix Series Writing course at the Cinema-TV Department of Bahcesehir University.
