Two buddies search for a mythical creature in a rural South Carolina town. They come to realize that its citizens are the real monsters.

SYNOPSIS:

MICHAEL ABBOTT, journalism student and crypto zoology enthusiast, is perplexed by a series of strange, unsolved disappearances in the small, backwater town of Wysacky, South Carolina. Aided by his best friend, SEAN, and going against the wishes of his mentor, PROFESSOR WILLIAMS (who has a few secrets of his own), Michael travels to the “Palmetto State” in search of the truth and some journalism cred, There, Michael encounters the citizens of Wysacky, who are led by MAYOR LINDEN, who, in Sean’s words, “looks like something out of the Old West”. Michael soon discovers that the citizens of Wysacky are a strange lot indeed and “the truth” he seeks is beyond his wildest dreams – or nightmares…
