By Arun Sharma

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Horror
LOGLINE: Trapped overnight inside an abandoned village school, a shy young man must survive relentless attacks from an unseen entity while the woman he loves is taken by a curse-shifting monster—forcing him to uncover a terrifying truth before dawn claims a new host.

SYNOPSIS:

A shy, introverted young man arrives near a remote village at night, following his former girlfriend, who is traveling with a dominant and manipulative college senior. Determined to confront the senior and stop him from exploiting her, the shy young man trails them into unfamiliar territory. As darkness falls, their journey is abruptly halted. Silent villagers block the road and insist they take shelter inside an abandoned school building until morning. The senior treats it as a joke. The girl is uneasy. From the school’s broken windows, villagers stand motionless, watching, while the surrounding forest offers no clear escape. Inside the decaying school, unsettling signs suggest the building is not empty. Scratched warnings cover the walls. Blackboards are filled with frantic messages written by different hands, all repeating one name: Vrantis. Strange sounds echo through the corridors—dragging footsteps, sudden bell rings, whispers that vanish when followed. A violent, unseen presence begins attacking the building. During a horrifying encounter, the girl is taken. The villagers do nothing. They simply watch. As panic escalates, a mysterious man appears, desperately searching for someone connected to the school. His presence deepens the mystery. Through a series of brutal attacks and near escapes, the shy young man uncovers the truth: Vrantis is an ancient curse that cannot be destroyed—only transferred. It does not hunt to kill. It hunts to escape. As dawn approaches, a ritual begins within the school. Vrantis prepares to shift its curse into the captured girl, granting itself freedom. Understanding the cost, the shy young man makes an irreversible choice—offering himself as the new bearer. Morning arrives. The girl is released. The villagers disperse. The school returns to silence. Deep within its corridors, the shy young man remains—alive, transformed, and trapped—while Vrantis endures, contained once more. The village survives. The curse continues.
