As the U.S. Army unleashes chaos in Vancouver, a desperate family fights to survive amid missile rain and the horrors of war, where every moment counts and hope fades in the shadows of destruction.
SYNOPSIS:
Maeve, Arlo, Talia, and Orin live in Vancouver under the looming threat of war, trying to maintain normalcy while planning to evacuate to inner BC. War begins with sudden airstrikes. Talia, on the Canada Line with her boyfriend Richard, survives a missile strike, but Richard dies. She seeks refuge under the Canadian Army but struggles to reunite with her family.
At school, Arlo and Maris attempt to evacuate students to the gym, but an airstrike kills everyone inside. Maeve rescues Arlo and Orin, narrowly escaping further missile strikes. Chaos escalates as the U.S. Army targets Canadian civilians. The family reunites in East Vancouver but is caught by U.S. forces, who execute Maeve, leaving the family shattered.
With help from the RCMP and local homeless, Arlo, Talia, and Orin flee the city. Seeking refuge near the river, the family is ambushed by a U.S. sniper. Arlo is injured and sacrifices himself so Talia and Orin can escape. Devastated, the siblings navigate the horrors of war, clinging to survival. Attempting to cross the river to North Vancouver, they are attacked. Talia is killed, leaving Orin as the sole survivor. Alone in a refugee camp, Orin hears the ominous sound of airstrikes approaching once more.
