ANGELS ALWAYS FALL
By Todd Fabyanic

GENRE: Fantasy
LOGLINE:

When a celestial warrior must shield an essential soul from dark forces during a catastrophic transit accident, he grapples with the weight of sacrifice and the true meaning of angelic duty in a battle where angels are always targeted and destined to fall.

SYNOPSIS:

In the mystical Chamber of Resonances, Kaelen receives a grave warning from General Maltus about an impending disaster in the Lower Plane—a transit accident that will release twelve spirits into a perilous realm. As celestial beings prepare for a retrieval mission, Kaelen learns of a hidden enemy intent on capturing an Anomaly among the souls. The Abyss, aware of Kaelen's capabilities, plans to eliminate him and his fellow angels, using distraction as a deadly tactic to strike at the heart of their mission.

Kaelen, fierce yet troubled, questions the fate of angels, realizing that their role as the vanguards often leads to their fall and sacrifice. He realizes that the current mission transcends mere retrieval; it is about protecting a singular miracle. Maltus reveals a daring strategy that shifts their approach, empowering Kaelen to rise above the script of destruction.

As the shadows of the Abyss fall, Kaelen must not only face powerful adversaries but also confront his own beliefs about duty, sacrifice, and the true essence of being an angel. With every heartbeat echoing against the dome of fate, Kaelen prepares to defy the odds, knowing that for an angel to rise untouched, sacrifices must be made and bonds forged in the fires of determination.

Todd Fabyanic I really like the central idea that angels aren't invincible heroes but sacrificial protectors whose duty often requires them to fall. That immediately gives the fantasy world a unique emotional perspective. The themes of sacrifice, faith, and destiny also come through clearly. My only thought is that I'd love to learn a little more about the "Anomaly" and Kaelen's personal emotional journey, as those elements could make the already intriguing mythology feel even more immediate and relatable. Wishing you all the best with the project!
