Hi everyone,
I’m part of a creative initiative called Civil Revolution. We recently put together this manifesto for storytellers, thinkers, and builders who feel locked out of the system.
It’s not just about entertainment or filmmaking. It’s about those of us who still believe stories can shift the world. That systems can be rebuilt. That people who were never invited to the table can redesign the table itself.
I would really appreciate your feedback. If it speaks to you, let’s connect and see how we can work together.
Here it is:
A Call to Those Who Still Believe the World Can Change
Something is deeply broken.
You can feel it, can’t you?
It’s not just in the poverty or the rising cost of living.
Not just in the silence of governments or the noise of the media.
You feel it in the exhaustion of trying to matter in a world where access is a privilege, not a right.
Where truth needs permission.
Where stories need gatekeepers.
Where systems serve survival, not dignity.
This isn’t mismanagement.
It’s design.
A design that rewards those who already have the keys.
A design that ensures if you don’t know someone, your brilliance stays buried.
A design that filters out voices like yours — honest, uncomfortable, transformative.
Can we dare not just to fit in, but to rebuild the system?
The Civil Revolution is that bold move.
Not just to challenge or rebel, but to fix.
Through storytelling, we want to:
• Position storytelling not just as entertainment, but as a weapon
• Prove that policies don’t have to restrict or control — they can illuminate and promote
• Show that systems of economy, governance, and justice don’t need patching — they can be reimagined
• Make it clear that the future cannot be left to institutions designed to preserve the past — but to new agencies that can see the promise of what’s possible.
We are filmmakers, thinkers, coders, believers.
We are not waiting for permission.
We are crafting the narrative ourselves:
• Through movies that expose the lie
• Through platforms that crowdsource solutions
• Through communities that speak a different language of power
And we are inviting you to join us.
If you’ve ever been told to wait your turn
If you’ve ever been rejected, not because of your work, but because of who didn’t send it
If you’ve ever been gaslit by a world that punishes the principled
Then this is your turn.
What You Can Do:
• Review our open scripts, stories, and initiatives
• Join the creative team: write, direct, design, build, disrupt
• Connect us to others locked out of the system
• Or just raise your hand and say: “I’m in”
Because the revolution will not be televised.
It will be told.

The best storytelling doesn’t just entertain; it provokes, challenges, and expands our understanding of what’s possible. It sounds like your work is aiming to do exactly that, and I know there are creatives here who will be deeply aligned with your vision.
I encourage you to jump into the Screenwriting Lounge and the Producing Lounge to begin connecting with collaborators who are also drawn to layered, socially conscious storytelling:

I just need to share the method with the widest net....My whole super plan disguised as a screenplay? Free people, free people.
