In this Holiday Rom-Com, a widowed father falls for his new employee's fiancée, unaware that he has been unknowingly deceived by her twin sister. As romance flourishes amidst deception, his heart is shattered by the truth, only to realize that true love was closer than he ever imagined.

SYNOPSIS:

JAMES, a marketing entrepreneur and single parent, and MELANIE, a blogger returning home from Denver, meet at the airport. They have a brief but memorable conversation, sparking an undeniable connection. James reflects on the encounter as something special, but life moves on until he hires JOHN and discovers that the girl he fell for is COURTNEY, John’s fiancée.

James does not realize that the girl he fell for was not Courtney but her identical twin sister Melanie who is staying with John and Courtney. When Courtney is unable to attend an important company barbeque, Melanie steps in to replace her. At the party, Melanie flirts with James and develops a connection with his daughter, JOY. James, unaware of the switch, finds himself drawn to this woman believing he’s flirting with Courtney. James feels torn because his attraction with “Courtney” is growing stronger and when the switch occurs again at a client’s dinner because Courtney is out of town, his feelings become quite conflicted for this woman who he has come to truly admire.

When John’s best friend and colleague, DEAN, figures it all out, John, Courtney, and Melanie must find a way to let James know what they have done. Despite several “attempts” nothing seems to work until the company Christmas party. John, Courtney, and Melanie try to explain but are not very effective. Melanie, struggling with her feelings and the deception, confesses to James and admits that she fell for him and Joy. Devastated by the betrayal and feeling hurt, James breaks off all connections with Melanie.

Over the next few weeks James comes to realize that his feelings for Melanie are genuine and that she is truly the “one” for him and regrets his decision but Melanie, heartbroken and feeling that she has no place in James’ life anymore, decides to leave. James and Joy chase Melanie down at the airport but he fails to convince her to stay. He and Joy return home, heartbroken again, only to find Melanie waiting for him. They confess their love for each other and are determined to start anew.
