A mother desperate to mend the broken bond she and her daughter have, attend a mysterious two week retreat that promises reconciliation. When their assigned coach becomes polar opposite as he presented, survival forces them to rediscover the love they thought was lost.
SYNOPSIS:
Rachel Thomason and her 22-year-old daughter, Pearl, can’t stand to be in the same room without arguing. When they stumble upon an ad for the 'Open Skies Retreat', a program designed for loved ones to reconnect, Rachel impulsively signs them up for two weeks away. At first, the retreat is exactly what Pearl feared. Claustrophobic pods, awkward “bonding” activities, and endless bickering. Their arguments boil over into a near-breaking point, leaving them isolated from each other just as the retreat begins to feel off. Things take a sinister turn when Charlie, their assigned coach, makes a shocking attempt on Rachel’s life. In the fight for survival, Pearl must protect her mother from a place that promised healing but delivers danger. Forced to rely on each other, mother and daughter uncover not just the retreat’s dark secrets, but also the strength of their bond, rekindling the love that neither of them realized was still there.
