Synopsys: When subtle but unsettling changes begin surfacing in her students, a respected small-town science teacher becomes the first to sense that something is quietly slipping out of balance. What starts as a few isolated moments of oddness soon spreads: familiar faces adopting unfamiliar habits, long-held traits disappearing overnight, and people she’s known for years behaving like softened, sharpened, or hollowed-out versions of themselves.

While the rest of the community seems willing to explain it all away, Leslie can’t shake the feeling that these transformations share a hidden thread. She begins quietly investigating, following clues that lead her deeper into a mystery no one else seems willing, or able, to see.
