A couple turns to pet sitting across the world to finance an early retirement and accidentally concocts a mixture of weed and local foliage that allows communication with cats and dogs. The weed industry is poised to pay billions, if Darrell can only remember the recipe.

SYNOPSIS:

Darrell and Penny are empty nesters. Darrell is in the back end of a decades long career in journalism when the local paper he works for is purchased by an online entity and all of the employees are fired. Penny is excited about the development as her life long desire to travel the world is becoming an itch that must be scratched. Darrell is not ready to give up on work just yet.

After some cajoling and motivation from his new found love of weed, Darrell agrees to throw caution to the wind and financial concerns are placed on the back burner as Penny introduces him to an online pet-sitting community known as Trusted. The company that runs Trusted is the same company that purchased the local paper Darrell was fired from. He believes he can get a freelance job writing for Trusted while they pet sit, allowing them to afford the exotic adventure that traveling the world taking care of people's pets surely will provide. Along the way Darrell's appreciation for the ganja life transforms him from the meticulous fact finding reporter he was to the absent minded professor looking for his keys in every place but the freezer where he left them when putting the vodka bottles in for a cool down. He accidentally concocts a marijuana, mullen, lavender, dead nettle, cranesville and mugwort combo that allows him to communicate with cats and dogs. Now, what was that exact recipe?

Darrell must to return to his journalistic ways if he hopes to recreate the strain that the marijuana industry is poised to pay billions for. A global journey tests the limits of their emotional and physical well being as Darrell and Penny uncover and unravel conspiracy theories, threaten to be a disruptor in the multi-billion dollar weed industry and accidentally tread into influencer territory as they pet sit and weed hunt around the world.

This is a serialized comedy designed for Three Seasons and and Ten 35-45 minute episodes each.
