Kael Voss is a quiet drifter, walking the docks one night when he’s suddenly abducted by Adriana, a sharp-tongued gangster girl who believes he’s a traitor from her past. But when Kael insists he has no memory of who he is or why she thinks he’s dangerous, the truth becomes even more unsettling: he might be connected to something far worse.

Together, they’re pulled into a web of deception involving a violent syndicate - La Serpiente Negra - and a weaponized virus that causes hallucinations, memory loss… and eventually, full biological collapse. As masked assassins close in and the infection begins to spread, Kael and Adriana must flee across a dying city, safehouses, and even a remote island, hunted by both monsters and men.

But Kael’s past isn’t done with him. And what’s buried in his blood may be the key to ending the outbreak, or accelerating it.
