Chris Sorensen

Chris is a New Jersey based writer whose horror script SUCKERVILLE is currently in development with Level 10 Films (prod. SMILEY) and his haunted house script THE HOUSE ON THE LAKE was recently optioned by Steven Williford (dir. THE GREEN). He has penned THE ROSWELL PROJECT (sci-fi) for Windowlight Productions, HABBLAH: CLASSIC ROCK (horror) for Seymore Films, DOUBLE OR NOTHING (horror) for Level 10 TV, THE BOY SMILES (horror) for Bora Bora Films and A VALENTINE FOR BERNIE (drama) for Budosh Movies. Chris has had twelve full-length plays produced by the Butte Theater and the Thin Air Theatre Company of Colorado. Productions of his plays have broken all box office records and have ensured future funding by the City of Cripple Creek. He is represented by the Hudson Agency, NY.

Chris is a graduate of the Rutgers Professional Actor Training Program where he studied under William Esper and Maggie Flanagan. He is an original company member of The Present Company, producers of the NY Fringe. He has taught/directed at Cornell University, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Atlantic Theatre Company School and Interlochen.
