Kyrie has recently Produced her first Feature Film 'Mogwai: If The Stars Had A Sound', following the independent Scottish band from their inception to the present day, the @AustinChronicle described the film as 'a breathtaking look at community building'. It has been selected to screen at several prestigious Film Festivals including; SXSW, Sheffield Doc Fest, Raindance and Melbourne International Film Festival amongst others. Kyrie also Produced ‘Super Special’, a socially conscious short drama which aired on Māori Television and TV on demand, New Zealand. This was selected to play at 10 festivals around the world, including winning Best Actor & Director Awards – New York and Best Score – Athens Short Film Festival. It has been used as a resource in Schools and Universities around the world and continues to create conversations.
Recently Kyrie has been working as a Training Manager helping Scottish new entrants break into the Film and TV industry as well as helping established freelancers step up and climb their career ladder from Production Designers to 1st AD’s to DoP’s.
Starting her career as a Runner, Kyrie has over 20 years experience on projects at all budget levels and across a range of departments, including Editing, Camera, Location and Production.
She is based in Scotland though her work has taken her all over the world, including projects in New Zealand, Uganda and Fiji.
Kyrie has worked on many High-End TV Shows and Feature Films including Mission Impossible – Fallout, Ghost in the Shell, Fantasy Island, Guns Akimbo, Outlander and Screw, amongst others.
