After losing her parents, a young woman discovers she has a unique ability and must learn how to navigate the groups who want to control and promote that ability to their own ends. 

SYNOPSIS:

Set in the recent past, SPECTRUM follows best friends Hallee Darrow and Roze Coldwater at two key points in their young lives. In 2010, after 10-year-old Hallee loses her parents under unusual circumstances, she is taken in by Roze and her family. In 2018, the two girls encounter a portal to instantaneous travel across the globe. Upon their return home, the girls are set upon by a group tied to the disappearance of Hallee’s parents. Season One explores the 18-year-old friends’ investigation into the portals, while in 2010, the combative girls must learn to get along as the seeds of 2018’s events are planted around them.
