A Preacher and his family pick up a hitchhiker who quickly begins to turn their world upside down.

SYNOPSIS:

Bernard Peterson is a single father and Preacher trying his best to keep his family wholesome and his life simple. When asked to give an important speech at a Religious convention in Washington, Bernard suddenly has a lot on his plate. His rebellious, fresh out of high school daughter, Lilah, and his young inquisitive son, Sam, are already making him lose sleep.

Bernard accepts the offer. Not being able to afford plane tickets, he packs up the car and brings his family along (much to Lilah's dismay).

What was meant to be a quiet road trip soon turns into a potentially life changing experience.

When Bernard brings a hitchhiker named Drake into the picture, he believes he is doing the right thing. But as Drake’s dark past catches up with him, Bernard and his family suddenly find that they are now very much a part of the young man's future.
