Born and brought up in Manhattan’s gritty, exuberant, raucous, multi-ethnic, and culinary treasure-trove East Village neighborhood, I first raised a camera to my eye when I was 10 years old. A natural inquisitiveness of the gleaming teeming metropolis known affectionately as Gotham and the freedom to roam the city unfettered by parental insecurity launched my lifelong love of art, architecture, design and all things form – and, a foundational quest to fully experience the inner creative process and the most manifest expressions of consciousness.
My photographs were first publicly shown at the Brooklyn Museum in a group exhibit, The Young Eye, Photographers Under Sixteen and at Manhattan’s well-known 92nd Street Y. Since then, I have shown his work selectively in private showings while sequentially pursuing careers in community activism, environmental and city planning, advertising, and technology marketing where as a strategic marketing and communications consultant I work with market leading companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Tata and Wipro.
Most recently, I was co-founder and director of business development and marketing for Forensic Scan, a creator of enterprise security and solutions (forensic-scan.com). Before that, I was co-founder and director of marketing for Glob Media Works which built, launched and sold within 18 months, TagLikeMe a search+social engine based in the cloud, co-founder and CEO of Topaz Bridge, a SharePoint-based enterprise software company and CMO for NS8, a publicly traded digital media software company that was an early entrant to the online video-on-demand market.
I currently divide my time between my home in Ashand, Oregon, Los Angeles and NYC working with software/cloud and green-clean technology companies doing strategic planning, marketing and communications as well as commercial and personal photographic and video projects. I am available for local, domestic or global corporate communications or portrait, environmental, travel, architecture, food, editorial or advocacy assignments.
