I'm the author of Creating Blockbusters, a new book that outlines the key principles that make for great films, tv shows, and novels. It is based upon my 30 years of entertainment research experience, opinions of other senior executives, and new research among 400 audience members who shared their likes and dislikes of today's entertainment. As for my background, I'm an entertainment researcher and independent consultant who has tested well over 100 TV pilots, films, and franchise-based product lines for some of the largest entertainment companies in the world. I have written 4 published business books and 2 published fantasy novels (Pelican Publishing). My clients have included The Walt Disney Company, PBS Kids Sprout, Paramount Pictures, Starz, Mattel, and MGA Entertainment.
