In a post-Soviet capital, a teenage girl flees from gangsters who abduct homeless children for organ trafficking. She’s saved by a homeless war veteran — a real shapeshifter. Together, they wage war against the criminal syndicate.
SYNOPSIS:
In the shadows of an unnamed post-Soviet republic, a highly organized criminal network kidnaps homeless teens and children to extract their organs for rich, mostly foreign clients. The operation runs with surgical precision. Two women — disguised as werewolves — conduct late-night abductions in abandoned industrial zones where street kids gather for warmth and food.
One night, something goes wrong. A girl escapes. Exhausted, she collapses under a makeshift shelter, where she is discovered by a homeless man — a withdrawn, grizzled war veteran who, as it turns out, is no ordinary man. He is a real werewolf, cursed but not evil, fighting to control his dark side.
Together, the girl and her unexpected savior begin a desperate resistance. As two parallel plots unfold — a stalled police investigation and a secretive transplant clinic — the bond between the girl and the werewolf grows deeper.
The climax comes when the girl storms the clinic with a weapon in hand, forcing the surgeons to perform a heart transplant on her dying protector. The police arrive too late. But this time, good triumphs — at a cost.
