EIGHT BROTHERS, EIGHT COPS

EIGHT BROTHERS, EIGHT COPS
By Guy Lowe

GENRE: Action, Drama
LOGLINE: In this blockbuster, eight close brothers are ALL NYPD cops. And they're targeted for death by an imprisoned mobster looking for revenge.

SYNOPSIS:

This story follows eight Italian-American brothers who are close to each other in more ways than one: they’re all NYPD. The oldest, John, who is 36, is the anchor character of the film; because he’s the oldest, he drives a lot of the action. Unfortunately, John was responsible for putting away a mobster for life (Sing Sing Prison). In the shootout that preceded the mobster’s arrest, his (mobster) own brother was killed. When the mobster learns that John has seven NYPD brothers, he activates his outside network to assassinate John snd all seven brothers. It has to be done all at once, so the brothers won’t be alerted. (If two or three were killed first, the others would be on/under guard for their safety. Whereas if all are killed at once, there’d be no warning.) The mobster’s out-of-prison network includes enough guys to get the brothers around the same time. But they have to do a lot of coordination — following the eight brothers to learn their routines. A lot of normal police action happens in the meantime, including robberies and urban shootouts. There’s a mystery woman involved, too. She tries to convince the brothers to pose for a calendar. What happens?
