SYNOPSIS:

FAIRVALE is a three-part prequel to Psycho that explores the life of Norma Spool, an outgoing and sociable young woman who, after a series of traumatic events, withdraws into herself and becomes the mother of Norman Bates. The trilogy follows her transformation, her relationships with those around her, and Norman's childhood and adolescence, leading up to his first murder, an event that marks the beginning of his descent into madness.
