When a young actress reinvents herself as a global screen icon, the AI replica built in her image draws her and the woman she never stopped loving into a search for what remains unprogrammed in a world where identity, desire, and intimacy are engineered.
SYNOPSIS:
Greta, a young Swedish actress, leaves her home and the woman she loves, Clara, to pursue stardom, reinventing herself as the glamorous Margo Alba. Fame and success follow, but at the cost of the authenticity she left behind.
As Greta’s public persona grows increasingly detached from her inner life, Clara begins a new chapter with Richard, a tech developer commissioned to create an AI replica of the star: Margo 2.0. What begins as a technical challenge gradually opens an emotional breach, blurring the boundaries between memory, desire, and projection.
As both Greta’s and Clara’s constructed identities begin to fracture through exposure to the AI mirror, an ethereal oversoul presence — Lil — appears, leading them into a search for their essential truth beneath the roles they inhabit. Their journeys unfold as a search for what remains truly authentic — in consciousness, love, and identity — in a world increasingly shaped by manufactured experience.
