SYNOPSIS:
Matched is a 30-minute romantic workplace dramedy centered on siblings Cassandra Love (34) and Cole Love (31), co-owners of Love & Co., a booming high-end matchmaking firm catering to wealthy, discerning clients who expect results—not fairy tales. Armed with sharp instincts, psychological insight, and years of inherited expertise, Cassandra and Cole excel at pairing others into seemingly perfect relationships. What they can’t do is manage their own. Cassandra, the pragmatic and emotionally guarded older sister, approaches love like a system to be optimized—keenly aware of patterns, red flags, and the quiet panic surrounding age, fertility, and commitment. Cole, her charismatic younger brother, thrives on chemistry and confidence, hiding a deep fear of vulnerability behind charm and casual flings. Together, they navigate demanding clients, ethical gray areas, and the daily chaos of running a business built on intimacy—while remaining painfully disconnected from their own romantic truths. Each episode blends a client-of-the-week storyline with ongoing personal arcs, using modern dating, wealth dynamics, and sibling tension to explore a central irony: the people most qualified to understand love are often the least equipped to experience it themselves. Smart, funny, and emotionally grounded, Matched examines whether love can truly be engineered—or if the mess is the point.
