SYNOPSIS:
The Wolves’ Howl is a feature-length animated fantasy about loss, identity, and collective responsibility. When a cold volcanic eruption devastates a forest, an entire species of gray wolves disappears- except for one young survivor, Omma, who was sheltered in a distant cave. Overwhelmed by grief and isolation, he withdraws from life, believing he is truly alone. Unknown to him, the spirits of five wolves who once shaped his life awaken in a liminal realm known as The Middle World-the living memory of the Earth. This realm is not the land of the dead, but a space where extinct beings are briefly recalled when their species faces complete erasure. Bound by an unseen connection to Omma, these wolves must pass through seven natural trails-each reflecting unresolved fears, false identities, and inner conflicts. Their journey is not about heroism, but about self- recognition, acceptance, and the gradual surrender of individual roles. As they move closer to the final trial, the wolves realize that survival does not come from strength oh or leadership, but from consciously letting go of who they through unity- formed by awareness rather than force-can they create a shared emotional frequency. In the final act, their collective howl reaches Omma, rekindling his hope and reminding him that survival alone is not enough-continuation requires meaning. The Wolves’ Howl is a poetic, visually grounded animated film about becoming “we” without losing the self.
