Jason Bortz

Jason Bortz trained extensively in Seattle, New York and Los Angeles in film, theatre and writing. He has performed as an actor in many films, TV productions and a few video games, and onstage in many plays—many of which can be found on his Facebook or IMDb. Jason has won several awards since moving to the Sacramentio region for his work, including Sacramento News and Review’s “Best Local Actor,” Sacramento Film and Music Festival’s “Best Documentary”, A Place Called Sacramento’s “Best Overall Film”, and a 2012 “Best Actor” Elly Award for his role in Stand Out Talent’s production “Anything Goes.” Represented by the Silver Bitela Agency, Jason typically divides his “professional” time between covering/writing screenplays and working as Media Director for Stand Out Talent, a 501c3 non-profit specializing in trainnig and production in performing and media arts, housed in the historic Tower Theatre in Roseville, CA.
