When a teenager vanishes after a secret experiment in 1960s Cold Spring, a virus begins to spread — erasing memory, identity, and trust — as those left behind race to uncover what really returned.
SYNOPSIS:
In the 1960s, the quiet town of Cold Spring is shaken when a high school student disappears without a trace following a secret government experiment. Soon after, a mysterious virus begins to spread, infecting residents at an alarming rate — erasing memory, identity, and leaving behind hollow versions of who they once were.
As fear takes hold and the town spirals into chaos, a determined sheriff and a group of teenagers are drawn into the same investigation. Their search leads them beneath the town, where they uncover evidence of hidden experiments connected to the outbreak.
When the missing boy suddenly returns with no memory of who he is, his existence may hold the key to stopping the epidemic — or accelerating it. As the virus spreads beyond control, they are forced to confront not only the truth behind the outbreak, but the fragile nature of identity itself.
