When a disciplined patrol officer discovers his son has stolen the service weapon he used to cover up his wife’s suicide, he must navigate a real-time school standoff where saving his boy means going on record with the lie that broke their family.
SYNOPSIS:
Pre-dawn. Officer MARCUS HALE (42) processes a quiet suburban suicide with practiced detachment. But beneath his disciplined exterior lies a carefully maintained secret: his wife’s death was staged as a break-in to shield his son and protect his career. Back home, Marcus discovers his service weapon is missing from his digital safe. A single cryptic text from his 17-year-old son, ETHAN, leads him to Jefferson High School, where Ethan has quietly orchestrated a controlled standoff in the library. Armed with his father’s gun but holding no hostages, Ethan’s goal isn’t violence—it’s truth. He demands Marcus record a public confession admitting he falsified the police report two years prior.

Hi Ralph Carroll - I would consider adding a connection from the cover-up to the missing service weapon. She may have used that weapon but that isn't implied.
