A dissatisfied man connects with a mysterious webcam model named Nixie, only to unleash a predatory entity that uses his own toxic desires and buried secrets to consume his reality and bend his mind.

SYNOPSIS:

Deeply unfulfilled and struggling with rejection, an average man returns to his unkempt bedroom after a failed date. Seeking sexual satisfaction, he logs onto a live webcam site and discovers a downcast, enigmatic model named "Nixie". As they text, a bizarre bond forms, but the encounter quickly takes a surreal and terrifying turn when Nixie begins demonstrating impossible, omniscient knowledge of his physical surroundings—even manifesting a flower outside his physical bedroom door.

As the night progresses, a hypnotic sound fills the room, Nixie's song, and both reality and his mind begin to disintegrate. The man's bedroom fills with mud, seaweed, and putrid swamp water as a monstrous, shapeshifting entity physically manifests to violently dominate and torment him. The entity/Nixie forces him to confront a horrifying truth: he is not an unlucky, innocent guy, but a serial predator who has been harassing, stalking and assaulting women. Under the thrall of Nixie's spectral melody, he is driven to a horrific, final act of self-mutilation.

A short epilogue shows Nixie in her natural habitat, by a waterfall, luring another unsuspecting abuser.
