THE SHIFT
By Moises Perez

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Action
LOGLINE:

When a warehouse worker witnesses a criminal crew stripping cars during his shift, he becomes their next target — forcing him into a desperate night of survival as he fights to escape and expose the truth.

SYNOPSIS:

During a routine warehouse shift on a remote dirt‑road worksite, Moises and his coworker John discover that two cars have been stripped for parts. Suspicion rises when a strange coworker, Mary, claims she can “fix” the damage — a comment that doesn’t make sense and immediately raises red flags.

When Moises and John decide to call the police, Mary panics and sends one of her people to silence them. John is knocked unconscious, and Moises — watching from higher ground — becomes the next target. Mary ambushes him with a taser, sending him crashing out a window and into the dirt outside.

Barely escaping an attacker using the taser wire, Moises flees into an unlocked truck. A nearby resident who witnessed everything urges him to run to his house for safety. Inside, Moises learns that Mary’s crew has been operating a violent car‑theft ring for weeks — and now that Moises fought back, they won’t stop hunting him.

As Mary’s people sweep the area with flashlights, Moises and the man attempt to escape through the backyard toward a hidden shed. But the crew is closing in fast, forcing Moises into a desperate fight for survival in the darkness surrounding the warehouse.
