About Nicole

Nicole grew up in Los Angeles in a multi-cultural and multi-racial home, but while she relished her Spanish, Guatemalan, and Lebanese cultures (especially the food!), she always identified with the skate, music and hip-hop cultures of SoCal more than anything else. Having worked on film sets from the age of 18, Nicole got her MFA in Production from the USC school of Cinema-TV where she was a recipient of the Telemundo fellowship and her thesis film “The Duel” ran the festival circuit, garnering five awards including Best Comedy Short from the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. She self-produced a comedy web-series called “The Nanny Interviews”, and was a contributing writer and co-executive producer on a feature “Running for Grace” (2018), starring Matt Dillon and Jim Caviezel. Currently she’s in development with Roosevelt Film and Blue Cicada productions with her comedy “Eat it Up!” and she's seeking independent financing for her indie drama-comedy “Special”.

She writes comedy and dark comedy / dramedy mostly.
