About Jackel

The UK national grew up in Hong Kong, currently at a local production house as a video director for commercial and corporate video. Jackel started his film career by writing film critic reviews and making videos. Later on, he went to Europe for MA filmmaking degree in Estonia, Czech and Sweden, and he gradually specialized in directing.He was also a two-times nominee in 2014 & 2016 from the well-known BAFTA scholarships competed with other candidates all over China regions. In 2013, he directed several short films in Italy and awarded the best picture in “Cinemadamare” film festival, which offered him a chance becoming “creative director” at Maltafilm production, so as to participate various considerable budget documentary and commercial in a highly professional environment. In 2015, Jackel returned to Hong Kong, and he has worked at TV Broadcasts Ltd, (TVB), Radio Television and Hong Kong (RTHK), responsible for programme production, development, and creative writing.
Besides directing, Jackel sometimes would also be a producer or editor on his projects. During his study period, he received governmental “DORA” funding to Sweden for film research studies, as well as scholarships from different institutions for various workshops and talent platform throughout Europe. His directed short films were screened over ten international film festivals and broadcasted on air in various countries.
With multi-national background influences, Jackel likes crossover style between east and west rather than restricting himself in a box of stereotype from any particular race or country. Currently, he is dealing with couples of feature film productions in a development stage.

It tells the story of the last trip of the Apostle towards Rome, towards the sentence of his martyrdom because of his conversion to Christianity. As a Roman citizen he had the right to appear in front of Caesar and be judged in Rome. It is an experience of what Saint Paul had to go through to arrive to Malta and how this had changed its history forever. It also shows today's places that are related to this story of the shipwreck and the three months stay of the Apostle on the Maltese land. Written by Dalia

His scam is based on a psychological analysis of the clients, in order to convince them about what he advised. One day a woman named Martina goes to consult Constantine about her marriage crisis and Constantine finds himself attracted to her and in order to meet again gives her some hooks with chants knowing she would schedule new appointment with him. Little does he knows that after a run in with unsatisfied customer and a head trauma that would follow this meeting he will get his real powers back and he will be able to see the future, a really dark one. Miguel does not know that he checks into a haunted hotel room where a woman committed suicide before, and her spirit seems to haunt the room and takes possession of the TV by broadcasting a new clip over and over...
