Joseph Simas

Nomad, project designer, and colloborative screenwriter I have worked in literature, the arts, and cinema pretty much my whole life. A native of California, I have active ties to Hollywood. As a subtitler of well over a hundred films, major documentaries and fiction (Noe, Guerman, P-A Boutang, Balabanov, Hadzihalilovic, Dieutre, many more—see ), I have worked closely with many contemporary directors and production companies. I specialize in rewriting, doctoring, and writing on set. I also write for hire from a synopsis and brainstorming meetings with director and/or production company. My personal referrals in hand are fine, and if necessary, I can furnish more. I suppose the point to make here is that I love what I do, that is, making films, and love to play my part in making films go from page to screen.
