Bringing 20 years experience in feature films, advertising, episodic TV, documentary, music video and broadcast news internationally, Ian has 200 film festival screenings, two Superbowl ads and four Olympic Games in his roster. Ian spent a decade working in broadcast media as a news field camera operator and editor. Traveling the world filming and editing news, sport and current affairs: he has been to war, lived through fire, floods, has gone down in a helicopter, been to Antarctica, rubbed elbows with celebrities of every sort and seen many things that he likely should not have in his meanderings with camera in hand.
Ian holds an undergraduate degree in Media Studies and Video Production and a Masters degree in Film.
Dedicating himself for the last ten years to editing, films he has added his Midas touch to have screened at Sundance, Cannes, Venice, New York, Sydney and more. His first feature film won numerous awards, screened in theaters nationally in the US and still airs on Showtime. A highly accomplished stills and portrait photographer, he has exhibited in his native Australia and is currently at work on a book and gallery exhibition in San Francisco.
