Yuri Machado

Yuri is a graduate from the University Of Arizona with a Bachelors in the Fine Arts program with emphasis in Producing For Film. He is also a graduate from Pima Community College with three degrees in the same field. (Liberal Arts, Associates of Art and Digital Film & Video Arts).

He has been involved in several student projects at both Pima and the U of A. A major project he was involved in at Pima was entitled, "Payback Time." While producing and directing "Payback Time," Yuri learned how to work with local actors and got a feel for what it would be like to become a Filmmaker.

Thanks to his talent. experience and hard work Yuri has filmed a short called
S.O.L., which is touring the film festival circuit. It was screened in Tucson, Arizona and it sold every seat available. He is well connected inside and outside of Tucson and has big plans for the local filmmaking community.

While getting his education both at PIMA and at the U of A Machado has worked at a PBS affiliate where he has learned how to do a number of tasks such as shooting, editing and producing for TV. Yuri has also done numerous internships as Assistant of production and editing assistant at Gecko and BigFootHD. He has also done work both as videographer and editor for a nationally televised show called "All in The Americas".
