Shaun Singh Productions, Inc.(SSP) is an organization geared towards creating high quality dance, drama, film and theatre productions that stimulates social awareness. Combining entertainment and education, SSP utilizes the arts to deliver important messages to the public, while breaking boundaries with eclectic fusions of art and culture.
Long before the debut of "Bombay Dreams" on Broadway, SSP had a vision of bringing South Asian culture and arts to the larger New York community – and we succeeded. In 2002, SSP produced the first South Asian show on Broadway: RANG: Shades of my Soul. RANG was unique in other ways: it was the first in raising awareness about Domestic Violence in an artistic way, and the first in combining South Asian and Modern Dance to tell a story.
SSP is also responsible for presenting world renowned Violinist Dr. L. Subramaniam, India's beloved and award winning Bollywood Vocalist Kavita Krishnamurty, and popular global Musicians: George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Miya Masaoka, to the famous Lincoln Center stage in the heart of New York City. Bringing even more awareness to domestic Violence.
