I am training to be an actress at the International School of Screen Acting, due to graduate at BAFTA in July 2014. Acting is my passion and I thoroughly believe that if you work hard enough, it will eventually pay dividends. Dreams need commitment!
Prior to my current course I worked as a professional pianist and organist. I write music and have done so for over ten years. I have written a book called An Ordinary Girl in an Extraordinary World, based on a play that I wrote and starred in at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I also have a 1st class honours degree in Drama and Film from the University of Kent (equivalent to a 3.8 in the USA).
Originally from the Isle of Wight.
Unique traits: I have my BASSC combat certificates in unarmed fighting and sword fighting- specialising in dagger and rapier. I have been part of a comedy duo and write sketches. I laugh far too easily! When I write, I make the reader feel as though I am talking directly to them. My speciality areas of acting, screenwriting and writing are all in comedy. Lastly, no matter how hard I try I can never manage to obtain the mecca that is symmetrical eyebrows. Oh, and I'm an eternal optimist. That's all.
