About Tommaso

Born in Turin in 1985, I have always been passionate about music and cinema.

After 5 years of experience as a front end web developer I decided to dedicate myself to my greatest passion, the sound.

In 2010, I enrolled in the prestigious Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo (CN) with address "Sound Engineering and Recording", in which I had the opportunity to study with some of the best teachers and professionals in the music industry and media.

Beside the school I performed my first work experience in the field of music business at the Music Production Studios of Vittorio Cosma. With Vittorio I had the opportunity to participate at the creative process of commercial jingles and, in addition to studio work, to collaborate for the italian tour "Strange Things Happen" of the Police drummer Stewart Copeland, with the participation of Vittorio Cosma on keyboards, Caesar Petricich from Negrita on guitar, Armand Sabal - Lecco on bass, Alberto Tafuri Lupinacci on keyboards and Giovanni Imparato on percussion.

After completing my studies and the internship I decided to improve my knowledge in audio post production by acquiring the AVID Pro Tools 10 User certification and working on the short movie Ruggero, directed by Franco Dipietro and produced by Due Monete. At the same time I worked as assistant of the sound engineer Marco Finotello at the post production company Movie & Arts of Milan. This experience gives me the opportunity to work on recording voice over for radio, realization of mix for television commercials and sound design for video.

The desire to constantly evolve and to reach new challenges leads me, during first half of 2012, to work as location sound recordist: I worked as a boom operator at the short film "Alice sui Pattini" and the short film by Adriano Giotti "We Have All Night", winner of the Italian 48hr festival " Everything in 48 Hours", aired on Rai5 tv channel.

Until today I have worked with several companies in Italy, working as a boom operator for the production of short films, documentaries, web series, interviews, commercials, broadcasting for RAI and LA7 and viral videos for the web.

During the summer of 2013 I took part at the Italian tour of composer Ezio Bosso as FOH engineer. This experience allows me to specialize in the field of live concerts and to add a new knowledge.
