Wendy Girard has acted in Academy Award films, including "ANNIE HALL", a number of Emmy winning TV shows, and numerous other award-winning projects. As a filmmaker she created an Academy Award nominated Short Documentary, and has worked on many award-winning documentaries which have aired on national networks worldwide. During her decades long career in leading roles on stage in NYC and LA, in TV and Film, her chameleon-like abilities have enabled her to bring a broad spectrum of characters to vividly to life and garner rave reviews, including in The LA Times and honorable mention in the NY Times. Her documentary work has focused primarily on the environment and human rights. Girard has successfully developed, directed and produced over a dozen new plays in NY and LA to standing ovations and packed houses. She's currently writing her autobiographical action-adventure screenplays, and is looking for seed money for several other scripts in development as a producer.
