LOGLINE:

A teenage scam artist cons a group of seniors to rip off the mobster that’s trying to kill him… for ripping him off.

SYNOPSIS:

Danny Buda, a teenage con artist who preys on the elderly, is living a nightmare. In lieu of jail time he must perform community service in an old folks home... and one of the residents looks like he just crawled out of an Ann Rice novel. Danny stumbles onto a money-laundering scheme that euthanizes the seniors into a “natural death” and he wants a piece of the action. His dream of making the big con has just become a reality. The launderers get wise to Danny and send a hit man to take him out... but the thug turns up in a coma with mysterious puncture marks on his neck. Danny believes it was Henry -- the delusional recluse who thinks he’s a vampire -- and wins his trust. Henry offers life lessons but Danny plots with grifters to rob the safe. When the syndicate arrives to make the pick up, Danny leads an army of old people in an attack against the mob… Henry dies in the scuffle... Danny's cronies -- posing as morgue attendants -- remove "Henry’s remains" in a body bag that's actually filled with dirty money. End of story... ...Or is it? In a twist Chubby Checker couldn’t come up with, the body bag “full of money” turns out to be stuffed with cake. The cons have been out-conned by Danny. But now the question remains... where’s the money? Where’s the body? What happened to Henry? A kid, a con, and a Count... a coming-of-age story with a sting and a bite.
