Colin Akoon

Colin is an award winning Cinematographer with over 10 years of experience. Colin has a BFA from Ryerson University Image Arts – Film Program. For his thesis project Colin awarded the CSC best student cinematography for the short film “Crime of the Century”. Colin spent several years as an IATSE 667 camera assistant working on countless feature film and television productions. Colin continued his education in cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory program in Los Angeles. Colin has shot commercials for Canadian Tire, Bell Alliant, Metrolinx, The Bay. Colin’s most recent cinematography credits include the short film The Incident at Paradise Bay with BAFTA awarding winning director Lorne Hiltser, and the up coming feature film Together Alone with award winning director Mateo Guez.
