Lainee Frizzo

Lainee Frizzo majored in both English and Rhetoric (with a focus on
Creative Writing) at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where she earned her B.A. After her undergraduate studies, she earned a M.F.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Alabama. While enrolled at Alabama, she was awarded a Teaching Writing Fellowship which allowed her to teach Creative Writing classes. Lainee is a Professor at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL where she teaches composition, literature, and fiction writing. Her work has appeared in Meridian, Gulf Stream Magazine, Sou’Wester, Yemassee,
Pedestal Magazine, and Spot Lit Magazine.
