I have written and directed a number of drama's for BBC and ITV and C4. I created 'Jeopardy' a sci-fi series shot in Australia that won a best drama from BAFTA. Also created and wrote 'Broker's man' and 'Rumble' for `BBC'. Won a Prix Europa for 'Behind closed doors' a drama centred on child abuse and got a BAFTA nomination for 'see how they run' a drama following a family on a witness protection programme. Ran my own production company for ten years then folded into Chryslais TV as head of drama and ran 'Bentley productions out of Pinewood. Here we produced 'Midsomer Murders'. Currently devoted most of time to directing on iconic soap series - Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Byker Grove, Hollyoaks, Casualty, Eastenders, Grange Hill and Fair City in Dublin.
