A cultural, religious, and social war plays out in the 1880’s community of Galisteo, New Mexico as a community tries to establish its identity and control its destiny in an epic battle against centuries of oppressive and opportunistic nations and invaders.
The players are taking the field, positioning themselves for one of the most epic battles for possession and control of the New Mexico Territory. This is not your typical two-sided fight with players aligned facing each other, with clearly identified and aligned loyalties. Different languages, cultures, crowns and rulers each have an objective. The stakes are high. The consequences are permanent.
Flags of many different nations and faiths have been raised above the people of this land. Each is determined to defend its flag, beliefs, and influence. But there can only be one king, one people, and one voice. The combatants seek the loyalty and alignment of the huddled masses. Each has something to offer. Each requires something in return.
Shots are fired. The soldiers advance across the sacred battlefield. The fight over the New Mexico Territory has begun in the mystical land of Galisteo.
